As we closed out 2025 and focus on 2026 we want to highlight our accomplishments and celebrate our clients, partners, friends, supporters and employees that make ROFFS® the best in the industry. The fishing and oceanographic science community is truly a small world and we are blessed to be associated with such great people day-in-and-day-out and everywhere we go.

2025 Highlights

• Release of a brand new product FishCast® powered by ROFFS® in partnership with Simrad, C-Map and Fathom Science this subscription based product is the next greatest tool for anglers using AI fish finding technology where the better ocean conditions are forecasted and visualized directly on select Simrad MFD’s as a separate overlay on your chart plotter. • ROFFS® set another yearly record with tournament winners. See our 2025 updated tournament winner’s list where our clients again won millions of dollars in tournament prize money while experiencing unforgettable memories – CONGRATULATIONS ALL!  If we missed your placement, please email your wins along with photos to [email protected] and we will be sure to get you acknowledged.
• Attended and sponsored The MidAtlantic Tournament in Cape May, NJ, and Ocean City, MD this year and attended and supported many other tournaments on the East Coast, Gulf of America and Bahamas.
• Attended and sponsored the Skillie Project https://www.theskillieproject.com/ through The Billfish Foundation for white marlin conservation and satellite tagging support on Nantucket Island, MA.
• ROFFS® continues to participate in and sponsor the Saltwater Sportsman National Seminar Series hosted by George Poveromo in 2025 and will be doing so again in 2026. This year will be filming for TV episodes instead of in-person, so stay tuned.

• Started integrating the newest ocean color//chlorophyll imagery from the NASA PACE satellite into our analyses and monitoring.

We also want to take this time to thank our partners, supporters, and advertisers who have contributed greatly to ROFFS® success in 2025 and hopefully continue to do so in 2026 and beyond.  These include our satellite imagery and data providers at SSEC  University of Wisconsin for real time data, Fathom Science for our Cloud Free modeled data and new partners Simrad and C-Map for our new product release of FishCast® which will turn heads in the offshore fishing community. We just signed another 5-year contract to remain involved in the oil and gas offshore rig monitoring and are appreciative to our long-time partners DTN and schaudt.us as we continue to support offshore operations. Special thanks to continued friendships and supporters, George Poveromo, The Billfish Foundation, Viking Yachts, Justin Ladenthin of Jumbolicious Technologies for database and website development and support, Jamie Goodman of HySpeed Computing for programming assistance, and Lenny Strobel of Reel Time USA.

We enjoy remaining active in the remote sensing and oceanographic science community and keep updated with fisheries oceanography and the latest satellite technology to give our clients the biggest advantage on the water.  We are involved with seminars, workshops and feedback with NASA, NOAA, European Space Agency, and specifically within the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) community, and remain members with SECOORA.  We also remain on the board and support the Florida Ocean Alliance (FOA) and members of the WAVS Taskforce, collaborating with a number of stakeholders to assist in whale detecting technology to assist in reducing the number of vessel strikes to marine mammals, particularly the endangered North American Right Whale.

ANNOUNCEMENTS and WHATS NEW FOR 2026

Our 2026 travel, marketing, and seminars will expand this year including at the Miami International Boat Show (Feb. 11-15) and at the Palm Beach International Boat Show (March 25-29) look for us in the Simrad booth.  We will be at the Atlantic City, NJ Boat Show (Feb. 25th – Mar. 1st) and brand new this year we will be at the Saltwater Fishing Expo in Edison, NJ (Mar. 13-15). We will be back at the MidAtlantic Tournament the 3rd full week in August in Cape May, NJ, and will also be attending the Viking & Valhalla VIP event on Jan 30-31 in Riviera Beach, FL. We will again participate in and present at the Primary Search Sportfishing Seminars this year on Sat. Feb. 21st in Ocean City, MD.   Come by and see us and talk fishing and see what is new and stay tuned to our newsletter for other promotions and ROFFS® appearances likely at ICAST in July and at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show at the end of October 2026.
