Fighting 140 – 150 lb bluefin with unorthodox technique with spinning rod out of San Diego, CA. it looks ugly, but gives more pressure on tuna. Using heavy drag is à key to land a big tuna quickly. It took about 15 minutes to land the tuna using close to 30 lb drag.
