Awesome underwater video from our shoot off Islamorada, FL Keys. First half: A pack of hammerhead sharks swarming the boat while we were catching blackfin tuna. One shark tried to eat Nick Stanczyk’s tuna, but got hooked in the dorsal (Nick immediately broke the line); the tuna got a free ride on the shark. The second half: A Queen snapper eating my bait (squid) 600 feet below. We used the new Hooker Electric underwater camera housing, rated to depths approaching 2000 feet.
