2024 Year in Review and HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hello ROFFS™ valued friends, clients, and supporters, 2025 is now upon us and it is time to reflect briefly on 2024 and set coordinates to navigate into the new year.  First and foremost, we want to take this time to thank our wonderful clients, partners, and staff. THANK YOU for all your dedication, support, and business in 2024.  We are so blessed with some of the best relationships, employees, and clients in the business, and with your help, we look forward to continued success in 2025 to keep ROFFS™ at the top of our game.

2024 HIGHLIGHTS

  1. We again broke our yearly record for client tournament winners surpassing the previous number of yearly winners by over 100. See our 2024 updated tournament winner’s list where our clients won millions of dollars in tournament prize money while experiencing lifetime memories. CONGRATULATIONS to all of our winners and on-the-water success stories, we are thrilled to be a part of your teams.   2. Evolving partnership with Fathom Science as we continue to incorporate their cloud-free data into our ROFFS™ daily analyses for an improved fishing forecasting product. Together, we have now developed a brand new, revolutionary FishCast Powered by ROFFS product line. STAY TUNED.
  3. ROFFS™ attended and sponsored The MidAtlantic Tournament in Cape May, NJ, and Ocean City, MD this year and attended the Ocean City, MD White Marlin Open.
  4. ROFFS™ attended the 7th annual Billfish Symposium in San Diego, CA
  5. ROFFS™ attended and sponsored the Florida Ocean Alliance (FOA) Fundraiser in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
  6. ROFFS™ continues to participate in and sponsor the Saltwater Sportsman National Seminar Series hosted by George Poveromo in 2024 and will be doing so again in 2025.
  7. ROFFS™ expanded our analysis coverage and reach to the Galapagos Islands.
  8. ROFFS™ was a Keynote Speaker and attended the Primary Search Seminar Series in Belcamp, Maryland.
  9. ROFFS™ collaboration with Hilton’s Realtime Navigator allowing our analyses to be compatible and georeferenced in Hilton’s App and some MFDs using Sat2Nav for Gulf of Mexico and Cabo San Lucas, MX areas.

  11. ROFFS™ attended SECOORA annual meeting in Charleston, SC
  12. ROFFS™ attended and presented at NOAA’s Oceans and Water Satellite Symposium focusing on advancing the next generation of ocean color satellites.

We also want to take this time to acknowledge and thank our partners, supporters, and collaborators who have contributed to ROFFS™ success in 2024 and hopefully continue to do so in 2025 and beyond.  These include our real-time satellite data providers at SSEC  University of Wisconsin for satellite imagery support, our advertisers South Jersey Yacht Sales and South Jersey Tournaments, Capt. Ricky Wheeler of Saltwater Euphoria, and Capt. Chip Berry at Maps Unique. We want to give a special thank you to South Jersey Tournaments for a long-standing beneficial relationship.

We continue to remain involved in the oil and gas offshore rig monitoring and are appreciative to our long-time partners DTN and schaudt.us for another good year as we continue to support offshore operations. Special thanks to continued friendships and supporters Lenny Strobel of Reel Time USA, The Billfish Foundation, Viking Yachts, Justin Ladenthin of Jumbolicious Technologies for database and website development and support, and Jamie Goodman of HySpeed Computing for programming assistance.

We continue to be involved in the research and science community and keep updated with fisheries oceanography, the New Blue Economy and satellite remote sensing technology to give our clients the biggest advantage and best data available.  We are active and supportive with NASA, NOAA, European Space Agency, and specifically within the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) community, and remain members with the regional association SECOORA.  We also remain on the board and support the Florida Ocean Alliance (FOA). Furthermore, we are now a participating member of the WAVS Taskforce, collaborating with a number of stakeholders to assist in reducing the number of vessel strikes to marine mammals, particularly the endangered North American Right Whale.

ANNOUNCEMENTS and WHAT’S NEW FOR 2025

Our 2025 travel, marketing, and seminars will include being back at the Miami International Boat Show (Feb. 12-16) at the Convention Center on Miami Beach, FL this year again in the Electronics Room and also at the Atlantic City, NJ Boat Show (Feb. 26th – Mar. 2nd). ROFFS™ will also be attending the MidAtlantic Tournament the 3rd full week in August in Cape May, NJ, and will also be attending the Ocean City, MD White Marlin Open the first full week in August. In addition this year we will be at the Winter Viking VIP Preview event on Jan 31st and Feb 1st  in Riviera Beach, FL.

ROFFS™ will be participating back on the ground tour for the Saltwater Sportsman National Seminar Series hosted by George Poveromo. ROFFS™ expert analysts will be at the following locations on stage:

  1. Charleston, SC on Sat. Jan. 11th
  2. St. Augustine, FL on Sat. Jan. 18th
  3. Mobile, AL on Sat. Feb. 1st
  4. Hampton, VA on Sat. March 1st
