First of all, we at ROFFS™ would like to THANK YOU for your support and business during the 2019 year and we are again blessed to proclaim that it was a successful year for many of our clients and for our business. See evidence of this on our website 2019 tournament winners list (https://roffs.com/tournament-winners/) where again our clients won a combined millions of dollars in tournament prize money and experienced priceless memories and we at ROFFS™ are proud to have a role in your success. In addition to the tournament winners, we appreciate all our clients and their feedback and photos during the year and get satisfaction from hearing your stories and how ROFFS™ assisted in your successful fishing trips, so please keep them coming in 2020. We continue to pride ourselves on customer interaction and relationships that sets us apart from our competition.

Overall, we accomplished a great deal in 2019 improving and expanding our services/products and partnerships. Highlights include: a partnership with mazu and their sport fishing app (https://www.mazu-marine.com/sportfishing/) making our analysis compatible, somewhat georeferenced, and more accessible on iPads; we redesigned our web site, logo and newsletter (roffs.com); hired a new analyst (Anthony Burns); were present at three major tournaments (Mid Atlantic, Big Rock, and Bohicket Billfish); gave a seminar at the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club and updated our Gulf of Mexico bottom charts and rig locations; attended the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, TX; and incorporated new satellite technology and imagery into our workflow (European Space Agency’s (ESA) Sentinel 3A and 3B SST and Ocean Color data). We also supported the Bahamas for Hurricane Dorian relief and keep our Bahamas friends close to our heart during these tough times.
We also want to take this opportunity and thank our advertisers and business partners who have contributed to ROFFS™ success in 2019 and hopefully continue to do so in 2020. These companies and institutions include Matt Oliver and Matt Shatley from the University of Delaware for satellite imagery support, Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), Goose Hummock Shops, and our advertisers, Simrad/Navico, South Jersey Yacht Sales, Gentilini Motors, DEEP Ocean Apparel, and ZF Marine. We also remain involved in the oil and gas rig monitoring and ship routing services and thank our partners DTN and schaudt.us for a job well done as we look to improve our offshore analysis for the oil and gas industry in 2020. We also want to give special thanks to South Jersey Tournaments for a successful partnership in 2019 and looking forward to 2020.
We are pleased to inform our clients that we continue to remain proactive in the research and science community to advance and keep up-to-date with fisheries oceanography, climate change impacts and satellite remote sensing technology to give our clients the advantage. We will continue to be active and supportive with NASA, NOAA, and the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS), and remain members and active with its regional associations (SECOORA, GCOOS, and MARACOOS). We also remain on the board with the Florida Ocean Alliance (FOA) and assisting in their Strategic Plan for Florida Oceans and Coastline remediation and a supportive participant with the Saltwater Sportsman Magazine National Seminar Series. We also continue to support The Billfish Foundation and assisting in projects.
We are excited to announce that we will once again have a booth at the Miami (FL) International Boat Show (Feb. 13-17, 2020) and the Atlantic City (NJ) Boat Show (Feb. 26 – Mar. 01, 2020) so please come visit us for some new promotions and information. We will be involved with seminars in different locations around the Gulf of Mexico and East Coast of the United States over the winter and spring seasons so please keep looking at our social media outlets and newsletter announcements.
As our vision improves in 2020, plans are already in the works for analysis coverage expansion, product improvements, new products and outreach opportunities. Furthermore, we will continue to incorporate and evaluate the newer satellite data from NASA, NOAA and ESA to improve our spatial and temporal coverage keeping us a step ahead of our competitors. We take satisfaction in providing you with the most comprehensive real time analysis of the ocean conditions to improve your fishing/working environment and efficiency. Therefore, please stay active with our web site (roffs.com), social media platforms (https://www.facebook.com/roffsfishing) and weekly News Reel newsletter for important announcements and improvements and as always we welcome your input and suggestions.
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and look forward to a happy, healthy and fruitful 2020.
