Dr. Chelsea Rochman has been active in the field of plastic debris for a decade and has participated in many national and international working groups assessing the environmental presence and impacts of plastics and microplastics. She received her Ph.D. from a joint program with San Diego State University and the University of California, Davis in Ecology and was a David H. Smith Postdoctoral Fellow at the Aquatic Health Program at UC Davis. She is currently on the faculty in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at University of Toronto.
